Representing Thomas’ enchantment with the simplest innovation for the cylindrical form, fluted column shafts referenced in the Magic Flute Collection are a hallmark of the apotheosis of Classic Greek architecture and then of the Neoclassical reinvention of Renaissance and late 18th-century French design. Made of brass and steel, each finished in bronze with brass detailing, this collection consists of two boxes, a cachepot, and candle holders.
