Finding its roots in art history, the Felix Statue is a surrealist study inspired by a 1951 sculpture by the iconic Alberto Giacometti, wherein he revisited a memory of his brother’s cat moving “just like a ray of light.” Villa & House’s artisans have captured that sly feline spirit in similarly fantastical fashion. Rendered in iron with a worked, textured bronze finish à la Giacometti, our Felix stands lithe and long on a sculptural base of white marble. The perfect ode to a beloved pet in a study, office, home library, or the like.
