These lamp cylinders evoke a revolving aesthetic. They are merely earthenware cylinders with snail like knobs that, through repetition of pattern, connotate function, purpose and order. Their new purpose is of course that of arrestingly finished lamp vases. The finish is a smoky tan evoking a lifetime of use.
